65% PLANT BASED | Chestnuts are a very important harvest in Portugal.
During chestnut processing, several by-products are generated,
like chestnut wood, flowers, leaves, shells, barks, and burs.
With local partners, we've collected these otherwise wasted
scraps, crushed and milled them into a fine powder.
We´ve managed to produce a technologically viable product ready
to be produced on a high scale, and without compromising
on performance.
All technical requirements for upholstery end use are covered,
achieving the high durability properties traditionally recognized
for this product range.
Facing the challenge of developing planet-friendly solutions,
we were able to incorporate 60% of plant based materials
from chestnuts, organic cotton, and natural oils.

can create innovative products without having to choose
between cost, performance, aesthetics, or sustainability.
